Running for the animals

26.2 miles through Tokyo, every one of them for MSPCA-Angell.

I'm running the Tokyo Marathon in support of MSPCA-Angell because I deeply believe in their mission to protect vulnerable animals and advance a more humane and compassionate society. Through animal rescue, veterinary care, adoption services, and advocacy for stronger animal welfare protections, MSPCA-Angell has a meaningful and lasting impact on both animals and the broader community.

This cause is especially personal to me: I've witnessed that impact firsthand through the adoption of my two cats, Boots and Faye, through Angell. Their work exemplifies compassionate care for individual animals and a broader commitment to animal welfare, public education, and systemic advocacy. Running this marathon is my chance to support an organization whose mission has directly shaped my life.
